Remembering Kristaps Porzingis from last year’s draft, fans were unhappy for this year’s draft for phoenix fearing that this high pick might turn out to be a bust considering the lackluster stats he made while playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Euro Leagues.

The kid can shoot 3’s despite his 7 foot height. His thin frame makes him a court racer and a high flyer. He has the potential, but it remains to be seen if it will stay as such.

The 2016 steal of the draft as said by fans and analysts alike. He’s tall and can do almost everything.  You want offense? He’s aggressive inside the paint while at the same time having the ability to score outside.  You want defense? He’s a monster in the rebounds and blocks department.

He has great work ethic and is also a gym rat.  A good addition for the young bucks talent that headlines Giannis Antetokounmpo making them a dominant pair in the lane.

veteran star Paul Pierce tweeted :

“ Thon Maker sleeper of the draft watch 10th pick remember what happen in 98”.

Seems like he values this draft highly.
