Facing becoming the bridesmaids to the Golden State Warriors for another year, Lebron James and Kyrie Irving carried the Cleveland Cavaliers on their backs as they unloaded 41 points apiece going to a 112-97 win to secure a 3-2 record as they go back for a chance to even the series at home turf.

King James proved that he would not be denied his crown as he played almost 43 minutes, playing a stat-stuffing game of 41 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 blocks, 3 steals. His brother-in-arms Irving played like a man possessed unleashing 41 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and a block to secure the big win.

This is also the first time in NBA history that two teammates scored more than 40 points in a finals game.

Stepping up to the defense were the short-handed Golden State Warriors losing Draymond Green to a suspension and Andrew Bogut to Injury in the 3rdQuarter. The warriors battled valiantly under Klay Thompson’s 37 points, while his fellow Splash Brother Stephen Curry laid out a relatively tame 25 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists. In place of Green, Andre Iguodala, the Finals MVP last year, contributed 15 Points, 11 Rebounds, 6 Assists and 2 Steals.

The two teams fought neck-and-neck for the 1st Half but then the warriors could not find enough answers to answer the scoring runs of James and Irving at the 2nd.

Game 6 will be back to Cleveland on June 16, Thursday 9PM ET.
