[Must Know]President Digong’s 11 Decrees for the Filipino People

Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s official:Rodrigo Duterte is now the 16th President of the Republic of the Philippines.

Filipinos from all over the world are excited to see his performance as the father of the country after doing so well in his hometown of Davao City. Much is expected from him after his no-nonsense attitude on governance captured the majority of the voting population, making his victory irrefutable.

“Change is coming” as they always say. But what should the nation and its people expect from the new head of state?

President Duterte

Shown below are 11 of the Orders the President will be implementing in our country. Do take good note of them.

  1. No Drinking on Public Places

“No drinking in public places like alleys. Make it your house. If you don’t have house, don’t drink. Do not occupy streets. I will order police to arrest all. Drinking must stop in plazas.”

If you are one to drink outside of the house, best be staying in or not drink at all.

For too long, we have been aware of the hazards of alcohol. If one cannot handle his liquor outside, one may tend to be cause harm to others or conversely, be put in harm’s way. If you want to drink with abandon, do it at the safety your own home.

  1. No Collection for Students

“No collections or any kind. Kung walang pang party, edi walang party”

Solicitation is a common means of raising funds on organizations and other causes. However, for students, solicitation is looked down upon as it presents that the student organization itself does not have the financial capability on their proposed projects. Considering that most organizations should be funded by the school itself, perhaps it may be fitting as the next move to increase the budgets for schools to appropriate the resources for student activities rather than outsourcing them.

3.Strict Curfew for Minors

“All minors should be at home before 10 pm. Minors are not allowed to be arrested but instead I will order to arrest the parents. Brgy. Tanod should find the house of the minors. If you are not working, I will terminate you.”

All men and women under 18 years of age need to be at home before 10pm. This is to keep them safe and keep their focus in their studies. If a minor is seen outside after 10pm, it should be accompanied by an elderly.

  1. Speed Limit Imposition

“EDSA must have 60 kph. Pag hindi nakita ng police, habulin ko ang police.”

This is one of the most disobeyed laws in the country which leads to accidents, injuries and fatalities. One reason is that the monitoring of the passing vehicles is not yet up to par with global standards in order to be strict with the imposition of penalties on the offending driver.

  1. War against Drugs

“The war against drugs must start from the brgy. level. Only those whole completed ROTC and with neuro, na pwedeng tanod, I will issue them guns under the supervision of their brgy. captains. Those who would kill the lives of my children, must be killed. Those who kill my country, must be killed” “Pagsinabi ko, gawin ko”

Illegal Drug use and distribution has been a prevalent problem in this country. There have been cases where even the police officers were caught collaborating with the Drug Lords or even being involved with the direct distribution. The new order now plans to clean house from the bottom-up.

  1. Government Employee Behavior

“Yung mga nasa posisyon, wag kayong umasta na parang sino. Be courteous to everybody, kahit wala kang ngipin, save money palagay ka ng pustiso, magpalagay ka and SMILE”

Be warned crooked government employees: Stop being lazy, arrogant and corrupt. Our president is watching you.

  1. Corrupt Police / Military Officials

“Resign or Retire. I hate to hear the public to ask you to retire. Yung may mga kaso, you retire otherwise, I will send you to the territory of Abu Sayyaf to combat them. If you will be captured, I will let you there.”

The president means serious business if he is willing to shake up the core of the armed forces and police force.

  1. Document Processing

“My proposal is, all government institutions, clearances, business permit must release in 72 hours. If it is released more than 72 hrs, I will ask why. It must be applied in all department in the entire country. We have our computers. If you don’t want to work, sabihin nyo dahil maraming naghahanap ng trabaho”

Knowing full well the woes of the public in processing documents in government offices. This mandate would hopefully alleviate the suffering of any citizen.

  1. Heavy Firearms and NPA Rebels

“I will not allow licensing of heavy firearms. Those who have license already, ok lang yan but must have permits. Ayokong magbili ng almost full armory because corruption follows. Several times it happened before in our country.”

“The NPA rebels have to realize that I’m in the government and while I am from the left, I am their enemy as well but I am extending my hands to talk for peace.”

What this means is that there will no longer be any heavy firearms allotted for private use as this may result in abuse (private armies, assassinations, etc.). Permits are mandatory and should only be exercised with due diligence and safety.

On the second note, the president is amicable in suing for peace between the Leftists and the entire nation as he knows that fighting fellow countrymen is not the answer.

  1. Videoke Limit

“Videoke must stop by 10pm. Let the children of your neighbors sleep.”

Got a neighbor who sings out loud like there’s no tomorrow? The president got you covered.

If you like singing that much, make a soundproof room so none of it disturbs the neighbors.

  1. Death Penalty

“It depends of the level of the crime. This is death penalty by hanging. Heinous crime, kidnapping with ransom, rape, robbery with rape and homicide– double hanging. After bitayin…bitayin ulit”

The president believes that once you commit a heinous crime, you will be stripped with your rights. He cares for the victims so much that he is willing to be the one to exact justice on their behalf. Even though this is met with harsh opposition, this might be the wake-up call our country needs.

These are the changes that we will be expecting to materialize in one presidential term. But be reminded that there is only so much laws can accomplish for change if the person himself is not willing to follow.

Change begins in you. Through it, you become an example for others to follow.

Congratulations President!
