With the latest season of Thrones behind us, we’ve now got nothing but The Long Night ahead of us. Winter is finally here, and it’ll be many more exciting cold months before our TV screens are graced with fan favourites like Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, and Tyrion Lannister again. Here are the latest teaser about the longest and most awaited series of all time.
“Arya named her Direwolf Nymeria who is now a wild Direwolf like how Arya is wild and like Nymeria Arya may lead her own pack someday. Sansa’s Direwolf is named Lady who of course symbolises Sansa being a Lady but the fact the Direwolf died could mean Sansa will die.”
How many episodes will there be in Game of Thrones Season 8?
As confirmed by show runners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, Game of Thrones Season 8 will feature only six episodes. However, it is likely that each episode will be a feature-length, so anything from 60 mins to 120 minutes.
Who’s going to be in Game of Thrones Season 8?
Unless told otherwise, a recent teaser making rounds in the internet that all the main characters will be returning for the show. So Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) , Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) will all feature in the most awaited finale. It was also confirmed in March that Headey’s body double Rebecca Van Cleave, who stepped in for Lannister’s walk of shame in the season five finale, will return in season 8.
Furthermore, these haven’t been confirmed (other than the recent news that Game of Thrones, in true Game of Thrones fashion, will kill off a number of major players), but they certainly make sense – and if they do they prove to be true, expect the internet to explode when Game of Thrones comes out next year (more on that below), as some much loved characters could be fated for a one-way flight to the great Iron Throne in the sky.
